Research is a twin word to training and the acquisition of knowledge. There are so many issues on Islam and Christian-Muslim relations in Africa that are of historical and contemporary significance and relevance that research can unearth or discover for both academic and practical use. PROCMURA envisions a situation where a research person can be appointed on contract basis for a number of years to investigate issues of Christian – Muslim relations in a given area and document them for use by those who have a vocation to promote peaceful co-existence between Christians and Muslims, for example.
